The sponsors set a 250 MW first stage, using 50 MW class units with one spare. The plant supplies the estate tenants and the hub’s own LNG and methanol load before any power is exported.
A later stage of about 150 MW is considered only if wheeling or export contracts require it. Cases at 300 MW, 400 MW and 500 MW were studied and set aside for the first stage.
